5 Crystals To Protect Your Energy
With so many individuals going through a spiritual awakening and the energy coming out of 2020, it is important to protect ourselves from the energies that make us feel like our worst selves which is why I made a cheat sheet on my five favorite protection stones!
Everything has energy, including crystals. By working with a crystal you are aligning your energy with the energy that the crystal carries. They are able to absorb and transform energy, protecting you from energy you might encounter and not want during your day…
Tourmaline: Creates a protective shield and grounds energy. Repelling negative energy it is especially good when bullies are close by. This is one of my personal favorite stones, especially for everyday use. It is gentle and I definitely notice if I go out in public without it.
Pyrite: Also known as Fool’s Gold, deflects bad energy and blocks it from your aura and body. It is known to work well if you have someone malicious you are aware of.
Smoky Quartz: This stone is amazing for concentration, but it also protects your Earth Chakra and blocks geopathic stress (so it’s good to have next to your computer). It’s also great for destressing & removing your negative emotions making this a top protective crystal.
Tigers Eye: Helps to ground you and clear creative blocks as well as negative energies or thoughts we have within ourselves such as low self-esteem or self-criticism. It’s also a creative stone so another great one to have at your desk!
Obsidian: Blocks negative energy and grounds you. This stone works extremely quickly but comes with a warning. It can bring up karmic contracts and past-life traumas that you need to be prepared to deal with before you start working with this stone.
By using the crystals above, you can help protect yourself or your space! Place them around your house, next to you as you work or carry them in your pocket. I recommend starting with Tourmaline or Smoky Quartz. Use each one for a week and take note of how it impacts you. Tune in to how you feel every day. Maybe use one for a week then go a couple days without it and notice the difference!
