It’s that time of year again where Christmas is over, it’s full-blown winter and I’m just waiting for spring. Easy to say, winter is not my favorite time of year – at least when I’m in Michigan. We haven’t actually had a ton of snow yet which means you don’t have to completely bundle up. I can (kind of) get away with wearing a midi skirt and booties, but still need a giant puffer jacket. I’ve linked a few skirts that I love below including this one which is on sale that are similar to this one with slits and fun…

People throw away 25% more trash between Thanksgiving & New Year’s than any other time of the year. In an attempt to go against the norm and throw away less this holiday season, I put together a few tips for living your best environmentally friendly holiday season ever! This season I am shopping smart with my sweaters because I am tired of my bracelets getting caught on them and ruining them (anyone else?). Shop my favorite sweaters from this season including the one pictured above – The Breakway Sweater from Freepeople – $128 (also comes in grey and a burnt orange/red). SHOP SWEATERS

Even though summer is just about over, I finally started enjoying summer & have a few trips coming up so I recently bought a couple new swimsuits.. oops. I’m not sure about you, but I haven’t bought a new swimsuit in at least two years so it was high time (95% of my swimsuits are from VS so since they’ve stopped making them I’ve been SOL). Swimsuits to me are a big commitment because you need it to fit you right & if you want it to fit you right you usually have to pay a pretty penny for something…
